Step 1: Download the Files

Click the download button above to get the latest version of Frosty Mod Manager. The download is safe, free, and does not require registration. Save the file to a location you can easily find, such as your Downloads folder.

Step 2: Extract the Archive

Frosty Mod Manager comes as a compressed archive. Right-click the downloaded file and select "Extract All" or use a tool like 7-Zip or WinRAR. Extract to a permanent location like C:\Frosty or your preferred directory. Do not run from the Downloads folder or temporary locations.

Step 3: First Launch

Open the extracted folder and run FrostyModManager.exe. On first launch, Windows may show a security warning - this is normal for unsigned applications. Click "More info" and then "Run anyway". Frosty will scan your system for compatible games automatically.

Step 4: Select Your Game

Choose the game you want to mod from the list of detected games. If your game is not detected, you can manually browse to the game's installation folder. Frosty will then load the game profile and prepare the modding environment.

Step 5: Start Modding

You are now ready to add mods! Download mods from your favorite modding sites and import them into Frosty. Enable the mods you want to use, arrange them in the correct load order, and click Launch to start your game with mods active.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues during installation or first launch, make sure you have the latest .NET Framework and Visual C++ Redistributables installed. For games with Easy Anti-Cheat, you may need to run in offline mode. Check our support resources or contact us if you need help.
